Our Odysseys Exhibition is an online portfolio exhibition organized by 12 Bachelor (Hons) students of Graphic Design and Digital Media at Saito Design School (SDS) to commemorate their final year of study and showcase their hardworks and talents. The exhibition's theme and all visual assets were created entirely by the students, along with guidance and supervision from lecturer.
Being one of the twelve, my role is to develop the overall art direction with another 2 members. In addition, I worked on various visual assets such as character redesign, pamphlet cover illustration, sneak peek video, Facebook cover image, live stream waiting screen illustration, and live stream ending screen design."
The theme of the exhibition, “Odyssey”, is derived from the original Greek poem describing “a long journey full of adventures”, which reflects the students' pursuit of their dream careers. As a key element of the exhibition, the train serves as a metaphor for taking the students from their current journey to their destination. It is also a common point for the majority of the student who took the train to pursue their studies in Saito. Each student charted their own path, which at some point intertwined and converged, bringing them to the day of the exhibition. The artworks presented at the exhibition not only showcase the students’ capabilites, but also best represent their individual journeys.

An illustration was created as the key visual, it conveys the concept of "journey, intersection, and travel" that we wanted to cover under the theme of "Our Odyssey". The illustration was also used as the visual for the poster.
Each students have designed their own mascot for the exhibition, however, they did not fit together well when presented as a group. As teh result, another student and I were tasked to redesigning them to achieve visual coherence.
